3D Printing

Our print farm in Riverstone runs continuously across FDM and resin platforms, handling everything from large-format structural components to ultra-fine detail resin work. We print in a full range of engineering materials and manage post-processing in-house, so parts come off our bench ready to use.

About this service

P3DA operates a continuously running print farm from our Riverstone facility in Sydney. The fleet spans FDM and resin platforms, covering build volumes from small intricate components up to 600mm in a single print — and larger with precision assembly. We don't close between jobs: a file approved at 5pm is printing by 5:05pm.

FDM printing forms the backbone of our production capability. We run a full range of engineering materials — PA12, PA6-CF, PC, ASA, ASA-CF, TPU, PPA-CF and more — not just as a catalogue listing but as materials we use daily in our own operation. The print profiles are dialled in through production use, not datasheet reading. For high-volume repeat jobs, we maintain client files and can turn around repeat orders without a quoting cycle.

Resin printing handles applications where surface detail is the primary requirement. At 0.05mm layer height, resin produces surfaces where paint and texture define the final appearance — not layer lines. Hero props for close-up camera work, dental and medical models, jewellery masters for investment casting, and fine-detail instrument components are all standard applications. We also run castable resin for clients who need metal parts produced via lost-wax investment casting.

Why P3DA for 3d printing

Continuously Running Farm

We don't have business hours for production. The farm runs around the clock, which means your deadline is our scheduling problem — not yours.

Materials We Actually Use

The engineering filaments we print for clients are the same materials we run in our own production. Print profiles come from real use, not datasheets.

In-House Post-Processing

Support removal, surface finishing, priming, and painting all happen under one roof. Parts come off our bench ready to use, not ready to finish.

How it works

01

File Review & Quote

Send us your STL or STEP files with a brief on the application, material preference, and deadline. We review for printability, suggest any optimisations, and return a quote with a realistic timeline — usually within a few hours.

02

Material & Settings Confirmation

We confirm the material, print orientation, support strategy, and any post-processing requirements before the job starts. For engineering applications, we'll discuss tolerance requirements and any functional demands the part needs to meet.

03

Production & QA

Your job enters the print queue and runs on our farm. Every part is inspected against the source file before leaving the facility — dimensional checks for functional parts, visual inspection for cosmetic components.

04

Delivery & Support

Parts are packed and dispatched or available for pickup from Riverstone. For repeat clients we maintain file libraries and standing arrangements. If anything isn't right, we fix it — no argument.
