Replacement Parts on Demand

When OEM parts are obsolete, backordered, or prohibitively expensive, 3D printing provides an alternative path. We scan worn originals, reconstruct the geometry, and produce functional replacements — returning equipment to service without waiting on supply chains.

Harsh Environment Materials

Mining environments demand materials that perform under UV exposure, chemical contact, impact, and temperature extremes. Our engineering range — ASA, PA6-CF, PC, TPU, PPA-CF — covers the full spectrum of environmental demands.

On-Site Scanning

We bring scanning capability to your site. Legacy components, worn parts, and installed equipment can be captured in-situ — no downtime for transport, no risk to original parts.

What we produce

  • Replacement components for legacy and obsolete equipment
  • Wear parts and bushings in abrasion-resistant materials
  • Custom jigs and fixtures for site assembly and maintenance
  • Dust and moisture-resistant enclosures for instrumentation
  • UV and chemical-resistant outdoor housings (ASA, ASA-CF)
  • Reverse engineering of parts with no available CAD data
  • On-site 3D scanning of installed equipment and components
  • Functional prototypes for custom tooling and equipment modifications
  • High-temperature parts for processing environments (PPA-CF up to 200°C+)

The obsolescence problem

Mining equipment runs for decades. OEM parts for machines installed in the 1990s are often discontinued, on 6-month lead times, or priced as if they're made of gold. 3D printing provides an alternative supply path — scan the worn original, reconstruct the geometry, print in an appropriate material. Parts that would otherwise mean a machine sitting idle can often be produced in days.

Material selection for field use

Not all 3D printed parts are equal. The right material for a UV-exposed outdoor enclosure (ASA) is different from the right material for a high-temperature processing environment (PPA-CF) or an impact-critical safety component (PC). We specify the material for the environment — not just what's easiest to print.

Materials for mining environments

Selected from our engineering range for the specific demands of field operations.

ASA
UV stable, weather resistant, outdoor installation
ASA-CF
Structural outdoor — UV stable and stiff
PA6-CF
High stiffness, heat resistant to 160°C+
PPA-CF
Extreme heat resistance to 200°C+
TPU
Wear-resistant, flexible seals and liners
PC
Impact critical, transparent inspection windows
