About P3DA

P3DA was founded in 2023 with a straightforward goal: to provide genuinely professional 3D printing and scanning services to customers across Australia — not hobbyist-grade output, but production-quality work that creative and industrial clients can actually rely on.

From our facility in Riverstone, Sydney, we run a fleet of FDM and resin printers continuously, supported by professional structured-light scanning equipment. Every material we run commercially — from engineering-grade nylons and polycarbonates to high-detail resins — has been validated in our own production environment first. If it doesn't perform under our roof, it doesn't go to a client.

We serve two primary markets: film and television productions that need props, costume components, and effects pieces delivered on tight schedules; and industrial and engineering clients who need functional prototypes, custom tooling, and end-use parts from materials that perform in real-world conditions. Whether it's a hero prop that needs to look flawless on camera or a structural bracket that needs to survive a factory floor, the standard is the same.

Beyond print and scan services, we supply the same materials we run in our own farm — engineering-grade filaments selected and stress-tested through daily production use. We also design and build turnkey in-house 3D print labs for organisations that want to bring additive manufacturing capability on-site, and provide on-site and remote management of existing print labs — handling operations, maintenance, and quality control so your team can focus on design and engineering.
